Miagani Island - Batman Arkham Knight Guide - IGN (2024)

Miagani Island is the far Southern island of Gotham, and houses notable locations such as Wayne Tower, Eliott General Hospital, and Grand Avenue.

The Riddler has hidden several Collectibles across the island, including Trophies, Riddles, Militia Shields, and Bomb Rioters. You can find a list of the Collectibles, and where to find them, below.

Riddler Trophy Locations

Miagani Island Locations (#1 - #16)

Trophy #1

This trophy is actually located on the Lady of Gotham statue island in the middle of all three islands. Glide out and look for a boarded up section of the wall. Glide into it and head down the stairs to find the trophy.

Trophy #2

This trophy is located under one side of the bridge that connects Bleake Island with Miagani Island. Drop down to the base of the bridge and look for a shack holding the trophy.

Trophy #3

This trophy is located behind a sealed up wall just to the side of the bridge. Drive up onto the bridge with the Batmobile and aim your cannon at the wall, then grab the trophy after busting it down.

Trophy #4

You can find the trophy at the base of the bridge on the Miagani side, beyond a sealed up portion of the wall. Send the Batmobile in to blast it apart, and then fly in. Inside you'll find a Riddler Bot, and a generator. Send the Bot towards the far wall, then use the generator to move the piece of wall forward, crushing the Bot. Now that it's on the other side, revive it with the question switch and command it to stand on the pad, releasing the trophy.

Trophy #5

The trophy in question lies next to a generator on a rooftop. Since you can't drive the Batmobile straight up the building, drive up the nearby parking garage and drive off the ramp to the next building. From here you can latch on with the winch to release the trophy.

Trophy #6

Located near the Riddler race track: "Flight School", look for a sealed up section of the building on the side. Shoot out the wall and glide in to get the trophy.

Trophy #7

Located on the roof of a tall building, several Riddler Bots stand ready to attack. However, some of them are colored red, meaning Batman can't attack or block them. To defeat them, hit the question switch to change their colors, then defeat them to get the trophy.

Trophy #8

Located in the Midtown Mall, look for the giant puzzle box and use the Batmobile's winch to pull out sections of the puzzle to drop the ball down all way to the bottom.

Trophy #9

The trophy is found higher up in the building housing the Midtown Mall, look for a boarded up section on the building wall and fly into it to grab the trophy.

Trophy #10

Travel to the main square in Grand Avenue, and look for the giant sign for Dang-Good Donuts. You'll have to get some air and travel directly into the "eye of the donut" where a trophy is waiting on the other side.

Trophy #11

Look for Pauli's Diner on Grand Avenue, the very same diner that the game started in. Enter the diner and look beyond the counter to find the trophy.

Trophy #12

This trophy is located in the tunnel of Grand Avenue, where the Arkham Knight's base is located, head to the entrance of the base and grapple up to the railing above to find it.

Trophy #13

Look for Lacey's Department Store, and find a winch hook just under the large sign. By pulling it with the Batmobile, you'll raise the sign to reveal an alcove with the trophy inside.

Trophy #14

Head to the tallest tower of the building to find map coordiantes to 2887, 2171, which is located on the roof of the hospital. Step on switch to start the race and quickly glide back before time runs out.

Trophy #15

Located at the base of the large church building, next to the statue of a lion, look for a sealed up wall next to a winch point. Blow up the wall and use the winch to raise up the block that is blocking your path to the trophy. As you obtain the trophy, several Riddler Bots will appear with firearms. Simply release the Batmobile's hold to crush them.

You'll find this trophy on top of a small tomb midway up the large church building.

Trophy #17

Located at the sealed off bridge leading out of Gotham, A riddler puzzle has been constructed featuring two wheels. Pull out the winch in the middle to connect the two wheels, and the trophy on the right will slowly rise. Ready your Batclaw and nab it when it passes the glass barrier.

Trophy #18

Just below the sealed bridge leading out of Gotham, near the entrance to one of the tunnels, you'll find a sealed up wall on the water's edge. Either glide up to the wall and use Explosive Gel, or get the Batmobile to the island that Wayne Tower is on and blast the wall to get the trophy.

Trophy #19

Grapple up to Wayne Tower, and fly up around halfway up to a small plaza that goes through the building. In the middle, look for an open door way and head up the small stairs to find the trophy.

Trophy #20

Use the Batmobile to drive off the ramp towards Wayne Tower, and drive around the base until you find the Riddler's Sonar device. Ping it, and follow the trail of question marks back across to the main island, around the road into Grand Avenue and up the stairs into Grand Avenue Station to find the marker to blast with your cannon.

Trophy #21

Head into the Grand Avenue Station and ascend to the level with the monorails. Here you'll find a trophy atop one of the train cars.

Trophy #22

Grapple near the top of Grand Avenue Station to where you most likely fought some of militia earlier in the story (if they aren't still present). Here, look for a grate by a ladder leading into a small room that holds the trophy.

Trophy #23

Head to the tall tower by the bridge leading out of Gotham, and start grappling up until you reach a row of windows. Glide straight into them to crash into the building to find a trophy in the middle of the building.

Trophy #24

Grapple up all the way to the top of the tall building near the Grand Avenue Station, adjacent to the building with the Vicki Vale sign. Up here, you'll find the trophy sitting in plain sight.

Trophy #25

From the bridge leading out of Gotham, drive around the large hotel building to a bar named The Gotham Pony. Use the winch to pull out the large door. Walk down the hall to the trophy (and note the barrier next to it). Once you grab it, take cover as two turrets appear. Use the Batmobile remotely to destroy the turrets.

Trophy #26

Grapple up the side of the tall building until you find a wooden board on the side of the wall. Glide into it to find the trophy on the other side.

Trophy #27

Glide along the monorail lines leading towards the tower by the greenhouse, and look for a trophy hiding in one of the monorail cars. You'll either need to glide in or get a grapple at the right point.

Trophy #28

Head past the Newton Fairgrounds to an area with two Riddler Bots. One is armed, and both will become hostile if they see you. Therefore, use the synthesizer to direct them onto pads in a way that they do not have line of sight with the remaining pad, which you can then sneak onto.

Trophy #29

Head to the very end of the Newton Fairgrounds pier to find the trophy tucked around on the edge of the docks.

Trophy #30

Travel to the large red tower / Militia Watchtower by the fairgrounds, and look for an elevator stuck near the top. Enter the elevator through the top to find the trophy.

Trophy #31

Travel to the Miagani Botanical Gardens, and head up the spiral staircase to the second flood, and look among the rows of plants for a trophy on the desk.

Trophy #32

On the other side of the Miagani Botanical Gardens, traverse the first floor walkway near the giant plants, to find yet another trophy hiding among shelves.

Trophy #33

Glide from the large red tower along the monorail line towards Founder's Island, until you hit the monorail terminal. Immediatley on the right you'll find the trophy on the top floor, on a small table.

Trophy #34

Look along the base of the Elliot Memorial Hospital to find another Riddler Sonar Device. Summon the Batmobiel and ping it to follow the trail of question marks. Follow the trail up onto a higher street level, and then back down towards the water's edge to find it next to a store called Jenna's Furniture.

Trophy #35

Head to the Penitence Bridge leading to Founders' Island, and look under the bridge for an elaborate setup of multiple question switches, two pads, and a Riddler Bot. Use the synthesizer to tell the Bot to stand on one pad, and then look for the locations of the four switches. Two of them are out of sight on the other side of the bridge column. To circumvent this, walk over and spray exploive gel on each of them. Then, detonate them, and immediatley send batarangs at the remaining switches to unlock the trophy.

Trophy #36

Head to the back of the Pinkey Orphanage and park the Batmobile on the green pad to light up the question marks positioned all over the wall. Look behind you and attach the winch to the top of the bridge to charge up your secondary weapons. Shoot the switches as soon as you see them light up (using the Vulcan Gun can make things easier as it has a high rate of fire and will switch to riot pellets when it senses a switch). When all of the switches light up, fire your missiles at the switches and fire at the one remaining switch to get the trophy.

Trophy #37

Grapple up to the roof of the Pinkey Orphanage and look for a small makeshift shack on the roof hiding the trophy.

Trophy #38

Right in front of the Pinkey Orphanage lies a riddle in a large column. to solve the puzzle box, you will need to alternate pulling out blocks from the column with the Batmobile winch, and pushing the trophy ball along it's path with the REC Gun. Start by pulling out the top, and pushing the ball with the top generator. When it falls down to the middle, pull out the middle winch, and then pull out the bottom winch, and shoot the middle generator to push the ball to the bottom. Finally, let the winch go and pull it out again to bring the ball out with it.

Riddle Locations

Miagani Island Locations (#1 - #10)

Riddle #1

"The League of Assassins stuck blades through hearts, now they impale each other's art."

To solve this riddle, head to the large multi-tier parking garage near the Mercy Bridge. Directly across from the entrance, look along the building wall to find some grafitii with a blade stuck into the wall. Scan it with detective vision.

Riddle #2

"A former warden who had a Strange turn, his appointment as mayor was a cause for concern."

This riddle is located along Grande Avenue, near the large intersection on a road running between a skybridge above the street. Look across the street from a sign for a Sports Bar to find a torn up ad on the wall for Mayor Quincy Sharp. Scan the ad with your detective vision.

Riddle #3

"The highest building in Arkham City, A Strange man worked here, who took no pity."

Note that the riddle mentions Arkham City, not Gotham City. From your vantage point near the sealed bridge leading out of Gotham, look across the water to a large island bearing familiar hallmarks from the previous game. It is indeed Arkham City, and scanning the Wonder Tower with detective vision will solve the riddle.

Riddle #4

"The Prince of Gotham sits high in his tower, yet this picture recalls a happier hour."

Enter the top of Wayne Tower where Lucius Fox is working, and look around the roomto find a portrait of the Wayne Family, including little Bruce Wayne. Scan the picture to solve the riddle.

Riddle #5

"Disarming, charming, quite the inquisitor. She'll pull back the vale, whoever her visitor."

Grapple up to the tops of the building located just Northwest of Wayne Tower, and look around for the large neon sign advertising the Vicki Vale Show. Scan the sign with your detective vision to reveal the riddle.

Riddle #6

"Are you suffering from a mental split? Take out the trash before you defend it!"

You'll find this riddle on the street near the Miagani Botanical Gardens and the large red tower. Look across the street from them to find a storefront advertising both legal and waste disposal services. The clashing scheme of the building should clue you in - scan it with your detective vision.

Riddle #7

"A natural cure for Scarecrow's doom, your savior's gone but still in bloom."

Once you have progressed in the story far enough to where the Cloudburst device has been dispersed, return to the site of the Miagani Botanical Garden where Poison Ivy merged with the tree to find a large red plant blooming, and scan it with your detective vision.

Riddle #8

"Friend of the Waynes though not as wealthy, their memorial ward keeps Gotham healthy."

To find this riddle, simply drive up to the Eliott Memorial Hospital and scan the large sign on the side of the building with your detective vision.

Riddle #9

"You forced this contraption over my brain, I'll reward you with punishment, debasem*nt and pain."

Once you have progressed to the "Final Exam" part of Riddler's side quest, head to the far side of the room and look on the shelf for a terminal. Hack it to find a secret planning room, and scan the helmet on the table.

Riddle #10

"It doesn't take much to tame a Cat, make them wear this, and then call the bat."

This riddle is solvable upon your first time entering Riddler's base in Pinkey Orphanage, and any time after. The riddle lies within Catwoman's bomb collar - so the location is... wherever she is. If you've already rescued her - go to the Final Exam room where she removed it, and you'll find it on the floor.
